As a parent of two young children, I have seen the importance of teaching and sharing the beauty
around us - we have wonderful natural resources in Northeast Florida and I want to ensure that our communities know what they can do to support our environment.
On November 3rd, Vote for Arthur Bides, Soil and Water
Conservation District Group 4, I will strengthen and expand partnerships with both government entities as well as non-profit organizations to help the conservation district meet its goals and mission. I will partner with the city to make sure new sustainability and resiliency goals are supported. I will build relationships and coordinate efforts with all available sources – public, private, local, state, and national entities.
I will help the conservation district become the go-to resource for all Jacksonville citizens to obtain useful information that will encourage the wise use of our land, water, forests, wildlife, and related natural resources. I will build relationships with civic organizations that also educate the community about the importance of conservation and how to properly manage soil and water resources.
